CHURCH MINISTRIES

My Father's House Kids

MFH Kids offers a place where children from 18 months through fifth grade can discover and develop a passion for God. Through worship, teaching, and a variety of fun activities, children are exposed to God's Word and challenged to grow in their relationship with God.

Our children's services are fully staffed with adults and high school students who are committed to teaching and ministering to children. You can be confident that your child is well-cared for and having a great time learning about God while you worship. Our childcare professionals, efficient and secure check-in process and sparkling-clean facilities will make your child's experience both fun and exciting.

My Father's House Kids Ministry is offered during both our weekend and Wednesday night services.

Youth Groups

We love our students! They have embraced the Micah 6:8 vision and have led the way in many missions and serving opportunities. This moment in life can be both amazing and hard, and our community of students have shown love for each other and for spreading the love of Jesus to our community and beyond.

Our youth meet every Wednesday night in the youth building at WPW as well as during various weekend outings and trips. The youth group is for students grades 6th-12th. You can also occasionally catch them at Pino's Pizza hanging out after service! Every student is welcome, so come hang out with us sometime!

"He handed out gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, and pastor-teacher to train Christ’s followers in skilled servant work, working within Christ’s body, the church, until we’re all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God’s Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ."

Ephesians 4:11-12 (MSG)

Worship Team

We want to inspire people to encounter God. The heartbeat of our worship ministry is to inspire people to encounter God. John 4:24 says that God is "seeking" or looking for true, authentic worshipers and this is the reason we desire to be a worshiping church. We want people to live a lifestyle of worship unto God on a daily basis, and we want to put Jesus at the center of our corporate gatherings. Our vision is to set the atmosphere for people to encounter God in the corporate gatherings.

Prison Ministry

Our prison ministry, led by Robin Johnson, is dedicated to reaching and sharing the gospel with inmates in local North Carolina correctional institutions. Currently we are faithfully serving and ministering to the inmates in the Eastern Correctional Institution in Maury, NC. For more information or to help serve in this ministry, please attend our next Growth Track. You can register for the next Growth Track HERE.

"Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court."

Psalms 127:3-5

The mission of the Iron Men is not for the weak of heart! It's for men who are ready to "put aside childish ways" and live up to their calling and responsibilities as men! We strive to empower men from all walks of life to overcome any obstacle, fear, or issue and become the Iron Men God called them to be.

The Iron Men meet every third Tuesday of the month to fellowship around a great, manly meal, encourage and help strengthen one another, and challenge each other to a competitive game of corn-hole with all the trash talk it includes (and maybe an occasionally game of Texas Hold 'em).
